The crisis center will contribute for the overcoming of the consequences, resulting from domestic violence, trafficking and forced prostitution and will give women the opportunity to achieve their full potential in life by providing 24-hour emergency assistance.<\/p>\n

\nThe project aims to support Plovdiv Municipality for the creation of a new social municipal enterprise, which will have a significant positive social impact on the lives of people with disabilities. Thirty-two people with different types of disabilities will be employed full-time and part-time for a period of twelve months. They will be trained to perform various types of things related to the production of promotional textile bags and magnets for refrigerators. In addition, different types of interventions will support the process of social and professional integration of the target group. To achieve this goal, psychologists and social consultants will be employed to work with the people with disabilities so their motivation, psychological condition and social skills can improve. The employed persons will be trained for the enhancement of their social competence. The social municipal enterprise will be managed with the help of a director and an accountant. Five persons from the target group of the unemployed will be hired further to support the production process.
\nThe project foresees a further analysis in order to create a working marketing strategy. Social media and websites will be used to promote the products of the new social municipal enterprise.<\/p>\n

The implementation of the project will increase the capacity of the partners \u2013 Plovdiv Municipality and BD Center Ltd. (Poland). It will promote transnational cooperation through research and transfer of social innovations, exchange of experience and good practices for sustainable integration of the target group in the labor market. For this purpose a Social Innovation Hub will be established in Plovdiv, where innovative practices for working with the target group will be developed, adapted and validated. The project will introduce innovative practices and ones already proven successful in the EU to counteract the factors that form the group of \u201cNEETs\u201d youth such as: working directly with people in the group; providing consultancy services of an educational, social and employment nature; attracting all stakeholders (educational institutions, labor agencies, employers, public organizations, NGOs, etc.) in order to create a common public service, which will be implemented at the Plovdiv Municipality in the form of a \u201cSocial Innovation Hub\u201d). This will allow the testing of the planned model by creating a structure targeted at delivering \u201csingle-kiosk\u201d services. For this purpose, 53 specialists (doctors, medical staff, psychologists, social workers, service management team) will be appointed within the project to care for 561 persons from the target group. A dedicated office for service staff will also be set up to provide users with a permanent and direct connection with the mobile teams who provide services to the users, thus facilitating their access to services and their timely provision. It is planned for the integrated mobile medico-social service \u201cPatronage Care\u201d to be provided for a period of 12 months. Aims and expected results:<\/b> <\/b>The project\u2019s aim is the sustainable integration of 150 young people aged 15-29 who are not engaged in employment, education, or training (“NEETs”) on the territory of the Plovdiv Municipality. The implementation of the project will increase the capacity of the partners – Plovdiv Municipality and BD Center Ltd. (Poland). It will promote transnational cooperation through research and transfer of social innovations, exchange of experience and good practices for sustainable integration of the target group in the labor market. For this purpose a Social Innovation Hub will be established in Plovdiv, where innovative practices for working with the target group will be developed, adapted and validated. The project will introduce innovative practices and ones already proven successful in the EU to counteract the factors that form the group of “NEETs” youth such as: working directly with people in the group; providing consultancy services of an educational, social and employment nature; attracting all stakeholders (educational institutions, labor agencies, employers, public organizations, NGOs, etc.) in order to create a common public service, which will be implemented at the Plovdiv Municipality in the form of a “Social Innovation Hub”). This will allow the testing of the planned model by creating a structure targeted at delivering \u201csingle-kiosk\u201d services. Services will be individualized taking into account the person’s personal profile, the specific needs and attitude of the person towards engaging in training or employment, providing tools in response to the reasons for the categorization of the person in the NEETs group. The implementation of the project will help to create better quality employment and increase employment rates, reduce poverty and promote the social inclusion of the vulnerable group of young people who are not engaged in employment, education, or training. Experts employed under the project shall perform the following activities, which adequately response to project aims: popularization of EU role and providing with relevant information on funding opportunities under the programmes; providing the potential beneficiaries with concrete information for applying under the calls for proposals, co-financed by ESIF; distribution of information and advertisement materials on aims, procedures and funding opportunities of ESIF in Bulgaria; cooperation with managing authorities\/intermediate bodies of Operational programmes and collaboration with national and regional media and national EU information networks.<\/p>\n

Capacity to serve up to 1800 people in the city of Plovdiv who fall under the eligible target groups:<\/p>\n

– People without income or with income below the poverty line are people in difficulty due to the deteriorating economic situation in the country, or people who, due to their age or disability, are at higher risk of infection and infection adverse course.
\n– People placed in quarantine without income or with an income below the poverty line who have no relatives to support them.
\n– People subject to social assistance that have been identified in need of additional support, in the conditions of an emergency epidemic situation, are unable to meet their basic living needs.<\/p>\n

In accordance with the Public Procurement Act, the hot lunch service is provided by two contractors. The service is available to users at 11 service points spread across the city of Plovdiv\u2019s six administrative districts, in premises provided by the selected providers and meeting the terms and requirements of Food Law. The provision of aid in the form of food rations for the people in need includes soup, main course, bread, and dessert-once a week. The project implementation period is from 04.01.2021 to 09.09.2022. The total value for the implementation of the planned activities is BGN 2 379 276.13, of which co-financing from the Municipality of Plovdiv of 0.70 BNG per lunch.<\/p>\n
