Winery Asenovgrad<\/strong> is famous with the production of white and red wines. Very popular is the Bulgarian wine variety called mavrud. “Asenovgradski mavrud” brand is a byword for wines of this variety. Cabernet, Merlot and other less-known varieties are with high quality\u00a0as well.<\/p>\n

Brestovitza<\/strong> is an established center of wine production in the region, located 20 km south of Plovdiv. In this region are situated wine house “Todorov” , “Brestovitza” , “Bonini”, “Villa Vinifera” and “New Life.” Throughout the year, these wineries are visited by many tourists, wine lovers that have special tasting room and wine taverns with delicious specialties. Interesting Wine Festivals are organised here.<\/p>\n

Brestnik<\/strong> is located on about 10 km south of Plovdiv. Here continues the tradition of making homemade wine. There are also festivals \u00a0for home-made wines.<\/p>\n
